Squareberries anyone?

With the age of ideal marketing of simulacral fruits and vegetables, rest assured the new squareberry is a sturdy shipper and strapping shelf-athlete. Never out of season and forever fresh these strawberry-simulacrums are massively approved by the general public according to the sales data, however we have no idea if the public prefers them to non-transbiofouled fruits because we don't care about taste. What we care about is sales and the diverse pretty colors that mesmerized shoppers tend to reach for. Sweet and juicy? Mmmm, just like the berries that future children will never know even existed in their new society of simulacre across the board. "What was a strawberry grandma?"
