Odors

My scents:

Cinnamon leaf smelled like baked muffins. Anise smelled like assault. Lavender smelled like a gift shop. Butter smelled like the movies. Clove smelled exactly like spiced chai. Tea tree oil smelled like every morning and every night. Eucalyptus smelled like childhood colds soothed by Viks Vapo Rub, and pandan smelled like almonds.

My mixtures:

Lemon, pandan and butter made lemon meringue pie that had sat out too long.
Clove, anise and lavender made my high school homecoming bouquet.
Cinnamon, eucalyptus, and tea tree oil made spiced rum.
Lemon and lavender made a garden.
