Smell Experiments

As Robert's mother talked us through the concoction of perfume smells my mind kept coming back to its relationship to music theory. The buildup of a smell through a base note, supporting middle, and soaring top creates chords of smell that harmonize or create dischordance. I am also very interested in the pulse on the wrist flicking fragrance out into the environment at the tempo of the heart. The top notes are sent out with each beat and slowly decrescendo in "loudness" while the other notes of the chord continue on long, sustained whole notes moving beneath.
